Workshop Sessions at Beyond Bolts

Join us at Beyond Bolts July 21 and 22 for our Handi Quilter National Educator Event.
Four workshops, hands-on time with our longarm quilting machines, discounts, and door prizes!
Workshop sizes are limited to allow for maximum use of machines — register now to reserve your spot.
We're looking forward to hosting you for some longarm quilting fun!
Day 1
Friday, July 21st (9 am – 12 pm)

The Basics: Topics covered will include the proper maintenance of the machine, threading, and software.

TNT: Learn the theory of thread, needles, and tension adjustment using a variety of threads including cotton, polyester, metallic, and monofilament.
Friday, July 21st (1 – 4 pm)

Free Motion: Learn how to take any shape or design and create a continuous travel path to stitch an edge-to-edge design, individual blocks, or borders. Learn how to use micro-handles to stitch beautiful micro-quilting designs. Anything you stitch larger can be stitched small to create a masterpiece.
Day 2
Saturday, July 22nd (9 am – 12 pm)

All About Feathers: It’s easier than you think! Learn to draw and stitch these beautiful elements in many different styles, from traditional to contemporary. Learn how to fit them in specific geometric spaces, how to turn corners, make feather wreaths, and how to echo and add fills.
Saturday, July 22nd (1 – 4 pm)

Ruler Mania: If you love precision and consistency in your quilting designs, you’ll love using rulers and templates! These tools assist in placing designs accurately and stitching them out precisely. You’ll leave this class feeing confident in the safe use of rulers, including straight-line rulers, circles, curves, waves, and their uses on quilt blocks.
